Scorpio Gold to Present at Vancouver Investor Forum, Host Open House

Scorpio Gold Corp. said Friday it will participate in the Metals Investor Forum later this month in Vancouver and host an investor open house as it advances its Nevada gold projects.

The company said Chief Executive Officer Zayn Kalyan will deliver a 10-minute corporate presentation on Jan. 23 at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, followed by a brief question-and-answer session. The presentation will be part of a panel organized by mining newsletter writer Jeff Clark.

Vice President of Exploration Harrison Pokrandt will also be available to meet investors at the company’s booth during the two-day conference, which runs Jan. 23–24 and focuses on precious metals equities.

Scorpio Gold said it will also host an open house at its Vancouver office on Jan. 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. local time during the AME Roundup and the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference.

The company said attendees will have an opportunity to meet management, review drill core and discuss its Manhattan District project in Nevada. Advance registration is required.

Separately, Scorpio Gold disclosed it has issued 6.47 million incentive stock options to directors, officers and consultants under its stock option plan. The options are exercisable at 37 cents per share and expire in January 2031.

About 2.9 million of the options were issued to officers and directors and were exempt from minority shareholder approval requirements under Canadian securities rules, the company said.

Scorpio Gold’s Manhattan District is located in Nevada’s Walker Lane Trend, roughly 20 kilometers south of the Round Mountain gold mine. The district has historically produced about 700,000 ounces of gold.

A maiden mineral resource estimate outlines about 740,000 ounces of inferred gold at the project, while additional historical estimates are not considered current under modern reporting standards, the company said.

Scorpio Gold holds a 100% interest in the Manhattan District and the Mineral Ridge Mine. Its shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange, the OTCQB market and the Frankfurt Exchange.
